Vehicle glass repair
Repairing vehicle glass has some advantages over replacing it, which are:
- Time saved as the procedure only takes 30 minutes.
- Respect for the environment by not generating waste.
- Repairing the glass normally doesn't affect your no claims bonus.
To repair the car window
- The impact must be smaller than the size of a 2 euro coin (40 mm in diameter).
- The crater of the chip must be less than 5mm.
- The chip or break must not be in the driver's direct line of sight.
- The PVB interlayer film must not be affected by the damages.
The windscreen must not have cracks longer than 50mm or that originate at the edge of the windscreen.
It is also not possible to repair multiple chips or cracks with craters that are less that 10mm apart or that have affected the bottom and top layer of the glass.
