At Ralarsa, we have been pursuing a very specific goal for a long time: to be a company that prioritises sustainability. To achieve this goal, it is essential that when we have an issue with our windows, instead of opting for replacement, the alternative of repairing cracked glass<\/strong><\/a> is considered.<\/p>\n

For this reason, and whenever possible, we choose to repair car windows rather than replace them. In this way, we create a company that is more responsible towards society and achieve a lower impact on climate change.<\/p>\n

At Ralarsa, we have an extensive network of car glass workshops. We care about the environment and want to be a brand that conveys to our customers that we stand for a better planet \u2014 an initiative that began to be implemented in 2021.<\/p>\n

Ralarsa, committed to sustainability<\/h2>\n

Repairing cracked glass before replacing it means that our services have a lower impact on the environment. So, what does Ralarsa do to become a sustainable company? Our aim is to achieve climate neutrality.<\/p>\n

As specialists in glass replacement, we are making every effort to follow the guidelines set by Cary Group, aimed at reducing CO2 emissions. This is why we try not to replace glass whenever possible and instead repair cracked glass since, with no glass waste being generated, the environmental impact is smaller.<\/p>\n

The term climate neutrality is key in our sector. For a company to be considered within this category, it must do everything possible to reduce CO2 emissions and, if possible, bring them down to zero. Therefore, at Ralarsa car glass workshops, our team of technicians studies each case individually. If a crack is larger than a two-euro coin, repair is not possible and replacement will be required. Otherwise, repair is indeed viable.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s look at some examples with figures: the environmental cost of replacement is around 40 kg of CO2 and 14 kg of waste. By contrast, if we opt to repair scratched glass, the numbers change to: 4 kg of CO2 and 0.002 kg of waste.<\/p>\n

Avoiding damage to car glass<\/h2>\n

To prevent reaching the point of having to carry out a car glass repair, at Ralarsa we suggest following these recommendations: maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front to prevent small gravel stones from hitting your glass; avoid sudden temperature changes in both winter and summer; and defog your windows properly \u2014 that is, without turning on the air conditioning so that it blows directly on the glass.<\/p>\n
