UNHCR and Ralarsa – Cary Group launch a solidarity challenge for the victims of the conflict in Ukraine

ACNUR y Ralarsa – Cary Group Lanzan un Reto Solidario para los Damnificados del Conflicto de Ucrania | Ralarsa

Due to the difficult situation Ukraine has been going through since 24 February, from the Ralarsa – Cary Group window tinting workshops we have launched a solidarity challenge to help the people affected who need it most.

#SolidarityToUkraine

Although it is true that the conflict between Ukraine and Russia had been foreseeable for some weeks, it was not until the end of February — specifically Thursday the 24th — that the beginning of the invasion of the country by Russian military actions was declared.

Since then, it is estimated that in just the first week of this month of March, the number of Ukrainian citizens who decided to leave the country reached almost 2 million, although as the situation continues over time, inevitably this figure is only growing in crescendo.

This is a humanitarian crisis of proportions still unknown; however, the figures speak for themselves. We are talking about an exodus that continues to increase minute by minute, especially to neighbouring countries such as Poland or Romania. But other nations in the rest of the European continent are also providing thousands of affected people with homes, security, protection, and assistance.

Through UNHCR, the United Nations Refugee Agency, and its teams deployed both in Ukraine and neighbouring countries, coordinated work is being carried out with the authorities of each country to care for all those in need. One way to contribute financially to help mitigate the impact of the conflict is by making a donation within the campaign launched by Ralarsa – Cary Group, leaders in window tinting workshops in Spain.

Thus, on 7 March, the #SolidarityToUkraine challenge was launched, in which any financial contribution is welcome. Both from the Spanish Committee of UNHCR and from Ralarsa – Cary Group, we encourage our customers to make a donation, however small it may be. This is an unprecedented situation in recent times that could result in a refugee migration in search of asylum that will very likely exceed 4,000,000 people.

Click on this link and do your bit to alleviate the effects caused by the military offensive in Ukraine. On the page, you will find several fixed-amount options to facilitate the donation, although each user may make their contribution by choosing the amount. Because, given the scale of the damage — material and above all personal — and those still to be counted, any amount means more than we think for all those affected.

At Ralarsa – Cary Group, we aim to reach a minimum of 1,000 euros from now until the 31st of this month and keep adding to it. And with your help, we are sure we will achieve it. Now is the time to help and to spread solidarity among those who need it most!
