We are pleased to share with you the agreement reached for the acquisition of Auto Cristal Ralarsa by the International Cary Group.
This important operation forms part of the strategic plan that Cary Group is currently implementing, focused on rapid and solid expansion in Europe, alongside Ralarsa’s firm objective of leading the Spanish market.
CARY GROUP is a Swedish company with more than 70 years of experience and a current presence in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and the United Kingdom, with approximately 300 service centres and more than 1,000 employees. Its expansion philosophy is based on acquiring national companies with proven solvency, leadership in their respective markets, and consolidated professional teams.
AUTO CRISTAL RALARSA began its business in 1978 with the founding Arsalaguet/Lucea family. Led by its founder, Joan Albert Arsalaguet, and his closest collaborators, the company developed until the generational changeover carried out in recent years, embodied in the figure of his son, Joan Jordi Arsalaguet, who, in close collaboration with the current team, has elevated the company to the prominent position it occupies in the market today.
Currently, AUTO CRISTAL RALARSA has a network of 243 centres (86 owned and 157 franchised), plus 180 mobile units. With more than 550 direct and indirect employees, national coverage, and stable agreements with the main insurance, leasing, and rental car companies operating in Spain, the company has sustained year‑on‑year growth backed by a solid and solvent future project.
At Ralarsa, we take this step forward convinced that this move will allow us to face, with even greater guarantees, the significant changes and challenges ahead — both in our sector and in society as a whole — as well as to consolidate our position in Spain and across Europe as a clear reference in the service of repairing and replacing glass for all types of vehicles.
Cary Group, for its part, confirms its confidence in the current management and human team, supporting and aligning itself with the business strategy and objectives currently in place. This is the best guarantee of continuity for both the team of people who make up Ralarsa today and the way the company will be managed and directed in the coming years.
