Ralarsa with the COVID Heroes: manages to sanitize more than 2,000 healthcare vehicles free of charge with Ozone

Ozone sanitization is one of the greatest allies of healthcare staff in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the months of lockdown, Auto Cristal Ralarsa collaborated with healthcare personnel, basic services, and emergency services in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, activating an exclusive 24-hour helpline — 900 333 733 — to sanitize these vehicles free of charge.

The campaign was a complete success, and we managed to sanitize more than 2,000 vehicles nationwide. We also appeared in major national media outlets that echoed this pioneering solidarity campaign in Spain, such as Telecinco, Televisión Española, and Antena 3, as well as radio stations like Onda Cero.

“We wanted to place our experience at the service of the fight against coronavirus, safeguarding the safety of healthcare personnel, patients, and, of course, also our employees. To this end, we reached an agreement to sanitize free of charge the emergency vehicles of 150 municipalities in the Community of Madrid, and the Healthcare Transport of Catalonia. In addition, with the national solidarity campaign ‘Ralarsa with the COVID-19 heroes,’ we achieved more than 2,000 sanitized vehicles,” explains the company’s CEO, Joan Jordi Arsalaguet.

Ozone treatment is the most powerful disinfectant according to the WHO (World Health Organization). It eliminates bacteria, mites, and mold, and also destroys chemical and organic odors and allergenic components; it even cleans air ducts. Another of its main advantages, especially for services such as those provided for healthcare and emergency transport, is its speed: in approximately ten to fifteen minutes it disinfects the entire interior of the vehicle, without the need to use harmful products that may damage upholstery.
