Auto Cristal Ralarsa has inaugurated its new workshop in the city of Zaragoza, the third to open in this Spanish city. Ralarsa continues to grow, not only by increasing the number of workshops across Spain but also by expanding its team of professional glass installers. With this opening, there are now more than 235 centres — specifically, 238 — currently operating in Spain.

This new centre is located at Avenida Vía Hispanidad 106, joining the other two already in operation (at Calle Juan José Gárate 14 and Calle Marqués de la Cadena 62, respectively). It is a spacious ‘showroom’-style centre, almost resembling a dealership. In fact, it is estimated that up to 10 cars can fit inside. Opening hours are from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 15:00 to 19:30, Monday to Friday, and on Saturdays from 9:00 to 13:00. The location also has a mobile unit to provide at-home services, mainly windshield and glass repair and replacement.

First-class services

As in the rest of our centres, this workshop specialises in the repair and replacement of windshields, car windows, and glass. It also offers related services such as window tinting, rain-repellent treatment, and, of course, the recalibration of ADAS system cameras. ADAS recalibration requires facilities with specific technical features, something which this centre fully meets. This is a top-quality service backed by Ralarsa’s more than 40 years of experience in Spain.

Safety and prevention measures against Covid-19

This new workshop in Zaragoza also complies with all Covid-19 preventive measures. Safety distances are maintained, protective screens are in place, and there is a specific time slot reserved for customers over 60 years old. The qualified staff use personal protective equipment (PPE) and have diagnostic tests available to detect possible Covid-19 cases. The home service is also part of these safety measures, in case customers cannot travel to the nearest workshop.

From the very beginning of the pandemic and lockdown, Ralarsa was one of the first companies to offer free ozone disinfection. This treatment, recognised by the WHO as the most powerful disinfectant against microorganisms, uses an ozone generator (also known as an ozone cannon) to sanitise the interior of the vehicle via airborne application, eliminating all types of viruses and bacteria suspended in the air or present on surfaces such as the dashboard, seats, etc. In just the first weeks of lockdown, and thanks to the “Covid Heroes” campaign, more than 500 emergency vehicles had already been sanitised.
