For the sixth consecutive year, and as a sign of our commitment to corporate social responsibility, Ralarsa is collaborating with the Enriqueta Villavecchia Children’s Oncology Foundation to fight childhood cancer. This NGO, since 1989, has worked to ensure that children and young people with cancer and other serious illnesses have all their needs covered — physical, family, social, psychological, emotional, and spiritual.
Ralarsa Corporate Social Responsibility
Since 2016, as part of our corporate social responsibility, we have collaborated annually with NGOs and foundations to try to do our bit to help the children who need it most, in both medical-health and educational projects. The selection of the project to collaborate with is not random — for its choice, we base ourselves on the following premises:
- With the aim of helping sick children or those without resources to have a better future, all our CSR campaigns are in collaboration with NGOs or foundations that help children.
- Participation is always global — that is, every single member of the “Ralarsa World” participates. Customers, companies, intermediaries, employees, workshops, suppliers and partners all take part in the project, contributing and helping however they can.
- For all this to make sense and to reach as many people as possible, we run multichannel campaigns using our social media, website, and other channels.
- All donations are linked to our core activity — for every glass repair or replacement service requested through our website, we donate one euro during a set period.
Donations for each online request
This year, to do our bit, we have set ourselves the challenge of raising a minimum of €3,000 to donate to the Enriqueta Villavecchia Children’s Oncology Foundation.
The campaign will run from 15 December 2021 until 31 January 2022. This solidarity campaign will consist of donating €1 for each glass repair and replacement service requested through our website.
With Christmas approaching and with the objective of helping the Enriqueta Villavecchia Children’s Oncology Foundation as much as possible, we are going to give our all to reach the donation target of €3,000.
Help us choose the solidarity project!
The aim is to reach €3,000 and donate it to a specific project within the Enriqueta Villavecchia Foundation. But to choose the project, we need your collaboration, which is why we have created a page where you can select which project we should allocate the total raised to.
The different projects of the Enriqueta Villavecchia Children’s Oncology Foundation are as follows:
- Social care for families. Financial support, accompaniment and family respite, management of paperwork and resources.
- Palliative care. Specialised care in the hospital and at home in the final stage.
- Volunteering. A great team, always ready and present to support children and their families.
- Activities for children and their families. Sharing experiences helps them to better cope with the illness.
- Support for hospitals. During hospital stays, they need the highest level of comfort and a well-cared-for environment.
